Hello everybody. I red the word of Manu and I thought, why not.
Question: Are security rules for Mil People boarding on a Mil plane the same as for civilians boarding on a civ plane?
Ex. Do Mil people have to put their cutlery, cissors, leather man etc in the luggage compartment or can they keep this items in their hand luggage? Thanks for the reaction.

T,
out of my head, I'd say that the regulations you are refering to do not apply to military flights. Military have their own regulations i.e. the right to transport your own weapons with or without ammunitions. So I think this is down to the Air forces to set the rules they 'd like to apply.
in the end, military peoples are trustworthy and are fighting terrorists. Not the other way round.
I'll check anyway with my specialist in aircraft movements and come back to you.

Unfortunately, there is not a simple, ‘one size fits all’ answer to this question as it would depend on the carrier (the national military authority).  I believe most nations will have their own regulations that may apply when operating purely military flights, with military passengers, out of military airports but would default to civilian standard security should the situation dictate otherwise.

For example, following a recent similar question, I understand that the current UK position is that their military aircraft are exempt the current security measures with regard to liquids etc when mounting from military airheads.  The only aircraft that is subject to the ruling is the South Atlantic B747 charter to the Falkland Islands.  This is because it is subject to National Aviation Security procedures (NASP), because it also carries fare paying pax etc.  For MOD pax travelling through civil airports and through civil security screening, (on commercial/charter/part charter or military aircraft) then the current security measures would apply.

Hope this helps.
